A one-woman-band born and raised in central Kentucky, 28-year-old trans woman Emily Leith grew up dabbling in the unlikely combination of folk music and video game development. This marriage of folk and digital influence, built on a foundation of indie rock sums up 2:00AM Wake Up Call’s two-part album project Mall Fantasy and Mall Fantasy is Dead, released in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The EP We Are Sun and Moon and Stars was released in 2023 and with 2024 being a rebuilding year for the project, new song revisions and re-writes have made way for yet another album from 2:00AM Wake Up Call. The Dead City is coming.
